We are pleased to announce that, following a change of ownership, the Lamb Inn, Rainton, North Yorkshire, is undergoing many changes, one of which is the addition of this web site. Steve and Bev Bannister welcome you to their very popular pub, which is not only quite close to the A1 Motorway (and quiet), but is also a Free House. This doesn't mean that the food and drinks in the pub are free, but it does mean that Steve and Bev are free to run their pub with no restrictions on the drinks which they sell. Steve and Bev (Bev is pictured to the left), having been the owners for over 2 years, have transformed "The Lamb" into an excellent eatery, with a very large selection of drinks. Serving consistently great food, using local produce and suppliers regularly every lunch and evening time. Open for food and drinks 7 days a week, there is always something interesting taking place in this lovely backwater, tucked away in one of the most attractive of pretty northern villages.
